Malawi Ambassador to U.S.
Ambassador Hawa Olga Ndilowe became ambassador of Malawi to the United States on Nov. 17, 2006. A public servant in the Malawi Public Service
since 1981, Ambassador Ndilowe served as an Information Systems Analyst until 1997. From 1997 to 2006, she served in the top levels of the public
sector leadership, management, administration and public policy management in the following ministries: Water Development, Defense, Home Affairs and
Internal Security, Housing, and the Ministry of Information and Tourism.
Ambassador Ndilowe holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science (Economics and Mathematics) from the University of Malawi -Chancellor
College and a Master's degree in Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics.
She is a widow with four children.

Dr. Hyveth Williams

Citizen of the Year for 2007. The Award for "unselfish and dedicated service to the City of Loma Linda and County of San Bernardino"
presented by the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce along with Certificates of Recognition from the California State Senate and Assembly.
An internationally acclaimed preacher and prolific writer, Dr. Williams, a native Jamaican who was raised in London, England, was a contributing
author to three books published in 1995. In 1996, her autobiography, Will I Ever Learn?, was published and promoted world-wide by the Review
and Herald. Her second book Anticipation, was published in 2000 by Pacific Press Publishing Association. Her third book Secrets of a Happy
Heart, was published in 2004 by the Review and Herald. Articles by Pastor Williams have appeared in Insight, Signs of the Times, Adventist
Review, Ministry, Women of Spirit, Message and Celebration magazines.
Pastor Williams is a recipient of several leadership awards including the North American Division Distinguished Service Award for Pastoral
Ministry and the Woman of the Year Award for Pastor/Chaplain from the North American Division Human Relations Department and the Association of
Adventist Women.
Dr. Williams appreciates every opportunity to share the Gospel, approaching her role as a spokesperson for God as a sacred trust.
Dr. Themba Mhlambi Mzizi
Themba Mhlambi Mzizi is a Prison ministry chaplain in the Southeastern California conference territory of the
seventh day Adventist church. He is a native of Zimbabwe and has worked at Central Zimbabwe conference as a district
pastor, youth director, family life director and personal ministries director in 1982-1996. He has also worked as the
dean of men at Solusi Adventist university .He currently resides in southern California with his family. God has
blessed him with a wife, two girls, twin boys, a grand son and a grand daughter. He graduated in 1981 with a
ministerial diploma from Rusangu ministerial training school in Zambia, BA degree in theology and business
administration from Andrews University (Solusi Campus) in 1993, MA degree in systematic theology from the University
of Zimbabwe in 1996 and a doctor of philosophy degree in Biblical counseling from Trinity theological seminary in
New-burgh IN in 2004.
Dr. Robert Kamkwalala
St. Louis Metro 2007 Yes I can Award. The award for minority special achievers as outstanding professionals awarded by the City
of St. Louis.
Dr. Kamkwalala is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Harris Stowe State University. He received his doctorate degree in
Management, and Masters degree in Finance from Webster University. Dr. Kamkwalala is also an alumnus of Harris Stowe State University where he
received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with honors. His academic and research interests include organizational effectiveness,
organizational behavior, and organizational development. In his free time Professor Kamkwalala spends time with his children Rebecca and Robert
Kamkwalala Jr.

Mrs. Pat L. Carter, M.A.
Mrs. Pat L. Carter is the President of AfriLabyrinth, Inc. dba Carter Business Consultants, a firm which provides consulting
services for business startups and expansion, group facilitation, marketing/sales strategies, entrepreneurial and cultural training for businesses,
and micro enterprise development to the U.S. domestic and international markets.
She is also the U.S. business art agent for Malawi's international artist Elson A. Kambalu, who resides in Lilongwe, Malawi. She has partnered
with Alley's Fine Art/Framing gallery in Ohio to promote Kambalu's original visual art works to corporate and individual collectors, and
interior designers.
Mrs. Carter is an adjunct faculty member at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio instructing in Management and International Business. Her
research interests are in the African Growth and Opportunity Act, and micro enterprise development for rural and urban regions in the U.S., South
Africa and Malawi.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Management (International Business) and a Masters degree in Business (Women Business Initiatives and Community
Development) from Antioch McGregor University, Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Mrs. Carter is married to William Carter and they have one adult daughter, Maya.
Sabina T. Zunguze
Sabina is the owner of A Gift To Africa, a company that promotes fair trade and markets handmade art and craft products made by poor and
rural women of 8 different countries in Africa. Through her residences in Africa, Asia and Europe, Sabina, was inspired to play a part in addressing
the plight of poor African women and to promote fair-trade with artisans in African countries.
Besides owning her own business, Sabina also operates Art Forms Inc, a non-profit organization in her gallery at Art Space City Center in downtown
Salt Lake which assists African refugee women in gain skills so that they can attain better jobs or start their own enterprises. Sabina is a board
member of various international organizations and is a member of numerous local and international women's groups and panels. Sabina has a Masters in
Economic and Social Statistics from George Washington University, Washington DC. Sabina resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Marie Da Silva
President and Founder of Jacaranda Foundation.
She was born and raised in Malawi. She has been working in the U.S for the past 15 years. She works for the actress and talk show host Ricki Lake. Though she is away from her country, she has been trying to keep connected to her family, friends and the people in Malawi. Marie Da Silva received CNN Heroes Award for her driven to exceptional achievement in services to others.
